President’s Message

Vikasganga Samajsevi Sanstha

Being with the organization from its inception, I have seen many ups and downs in this sector. Earlier, we have implemented projects on organic farming under Prime Minister’s Package for the development of farmers. A micro plan was developed for education of children with support of UNICEF. A project on Life Skills of children supported by Tata Trust was implemented for imparting life skills among children from 33 villages. These all were need based programs. Now the priorities have been changed and subjects like Rain Water Harvesting, Climate Resilient Agriculture, Farmers Producer Companies have come to fore.

The organization has been reached out to more than one lakh of people from the deprived sections of society to facilitate them for solving their problems by developing leadership capacities and skills among them and similarly restoring their rights on natural resources and making them capable of its management. The organization has been working in the social sector for the last 26 years for addressing the issues, especially of women from farming and landless families, children, youth and destitute old age persons of our society. Vikasganga Samajsevi Sanstha is trying hard to strengthen the resources under the livelihood sector along with raising the standard of life of poor farmers in our society.

Vikasganga Samajsevi Sanstha aiming to bring the deprived and backward sections of the society into the mainstream of development by developing confidence, unity, equality, brotherhood and peace among them. Its stress is on running natural resource-based projects, improving crop productivity of farmers by using newer technologies, to restrict farmers from distressed sale and make efforts for value addition and marketing.

We welcome technical as well as financial support and innovative concepts which would be supportive in our efforts of achieving the objective of our organization and for building of an advanced and creative nation.
